About Richard Adams

Richard Adams was born in the Cotton Mill Town of Danville, Virginia. His father was an educator and his mother was a public health nurse. He caught the music bug at an early age. 

While listening and playing music, he was listening to the sounds, dialects, and stories of his hometown. His memoir, 11 Brown Lane captures those stories through the eyes, ears and heart of Richard. 

The CDs on this webpage capture Richard’s story-telling in the form of musical theater and compositions and arrangements of a lifetime teaching, recording and performing music.
